data-id=\"231fea1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Thursday 20th October \u2013 The 89th UIM General Assembly features high on the list of international events hosted by Fujairah in 2016: UIM President Dr. Raffaele Chiulli, heading a delegation of UIM Council Members, was received by His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Ruler of Fujairah and member of the Supreme Council of the UAE at the Palace.<br><br>H.H Sheikh Hamad Bin Mohammed Al Sharqi expressed his satisfaction for Fujairah International Marine Club hosting the UIM General Assembly as a symbol of the \u201cunique accomplishment for sports and water sports in the UAE\u201d. It is an \u201cacknowledgement of the important role the Fujairah International Marine club is playing in the organization and promotion of competitions at regional and international level.\u201d<br><br>The Ruler of Fujairah and member of the Supreme Council of the UAE also took the opportunity to congratulate the UIM for the level of commitment and determination the International Governing Body was demonstrating to further strengthen the Safety in powerboating and to improve environmental care. Speaking of development, His Highness welcomed the creation of the UIM\/ FIMC Youth Training Centre, which is the first of the kind in the UAE.<br><br>\u201cWe are delighted that Fujairah, has become a key venue of our Sports,\u201d said UIM President Raffaele Chiulli. \u201cThe UAE have demonstrated their support for the UIM through their long-term commitment as one of the most active National Authorities and exemplary hosts of number of Powerboating Championships.
